We will explain this with a simple example. Let us say you price your course at Rs. 100. Since we charge a flat fee of 25% every time a student buys your course, we will charge Rs. 25 and the remaining Rs. 75 goes to you. This will happen as long as your course is live on our platform.

On your instructor dashboard, you can view your earnings and the amount of students who bought your course.

Since we function primarily as an on-demand, video-based platform, you’ll need to upload your video files directly to skillsGator. In other words, students must be able to view your course lectures on our platform.

No. Our marketplace model means that when you publish a course on our platform, you retain all the rights to your content. You simply grant us a license to host the course and make it available to our users, and to advertise your course on our platform and on third party services.

Yes, you are free to remove your course whenever you want. However we strongly recommend you keep it as you can earn additional income.

No, there is no limit on this. You can upload as many courses as you want.

Please refer to the audio and video standards on Teachers Academy for more information. But on a general basis, you need a smartphone camera at least for video filming and a lapel microphone for audio recording.

While we encourage you to use the best equipment possible, it is not necessary for you to use a DSLR or an expensive camera. Any smartphone camera is enough as long as it records in HD (720p or 1080p)

skillsGator charges a flat 25% service fee for hosting your course on our platform and maintaining it.

skillsGator will promote every course on different platforms. We encourage you to advertise your course on your social media platform. If you want us to feature your course and promote it further, there is a separate fee for this.

If you are new to online teaching and don't know how to edit, don't worry we have got you covered. We will edit the course for you as per our course standards.

No, we don't charge any fee for editing your course. However, we strongly recommend you learn to edit your courses as it is an additional skill that will benefit you immensely.
